Family Meeting (& Ice Cream)
What’s next for Immanuel Church? At our upcoming meeting, we will discuss what’s happening at Immanuel this summer and fall. Be sure to join us to find out how you can grow, connect, and serve with us. We’ll meet at the Community Center at 5:00pm, Sunday, May 23rd. Childcare will be provided for nursery through elementary. Stick around afterwards for ice cream!
Welcome Dinner
We love to host meals for Immanuel newcomers. Unfortunately, we missed out on that opportunity last year. To make up for lost time, we’re inviting everyone who has come to Immanuel in the last year to join us for a Welcome Dinner on Wednesday evening, May 26th at 6:00pm at the Community Center. Childcare will be provided. Register here.
Senior Sunday
Join us this Sunday, May 23rd as we celebrate our graduating high school and college seniors! 10:30am at Hardin Valley Academy.
Baptisms
Have you followed Christ’s command to be baptized? Jesus calls all who trust in him to publicly proclaim Him and identify with Him through baptism. If you or someone you know would like to be baptized, please let us know. One of our pastors will follow up with you.
Sent Campaign
Join us for the Sent Campaign. The goal of the Sent Campaign is to open our eyes to see missional opportunities around us and to take a step towards them.
To help us out, we have a list of ideas that you can pick from to widen your missional perspective and engage in missions now. These ideas vary widely, and they speak to different ages and stages, giftings and maturity levels, and different points along the discipleship journey. Some are meant to encourage getting to know folks outside your Christian circles, some are acts of hospitality, and some are about training. Hopefully, no matter your starting place, everyone can find an activity that encourages them to take another step in outreach.

CedarBrook Reading & Feeding Ministry
This summer is CedarBrook Outreach’s Summer Reading & Feeding Program. Summer Reading & Feeding is a 10-week program that allows CedarBrook to get to know, read to, and encourage the at-risk children in local government housing complexes. It also allows CedarBrook to feed meals to these at-risk children who, in many cases, lose meals over the summer due to summer break and school cafeteria’s being closed.
If you would like to help CedarBrook reach these children, you can sign-up HERE. Volunteering is simple! Volunteer time slots are 11:45am-1:15pm, Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays. Volunteers can choose one of these time slots or choose to volunteer on a regular basis. The Reading & Feeding Program starts on June 1st and continues until July 28th.
