The Heart of Christ for Sinners & Sufferers
Description: It’s time to preach the Gospel to yourself! In this study, we will consider afresh the heart of Jesus for sinners and sufferers like us. Each week we will consider a different aspect of Christ’s heart and ministry to us. We will be using Dane Ortlund’s Gentle and Lowly book to structure our study. Join us for this encouraging course!

Future Foundations Update
We are in a season of special giving towards the Future Foundations project. Since November, $204,000 has been received! Praise the Lord for His wonderful provision through your generosity! The Future Foundations giving will run through the end of the year and the sum total gifts given through December 31st will be matched up to $1,000,000. If you would like to contribute, you may give online or at one of the Sunday morning Gatherings.

iKids Update for 12/26
This Sunday, 12/26, we will be inviting our preschool and elementary kids to join us in the service. Our nursery and toddler classes will still be available.
Live Global Christmas Guide
As you prepare to celebrate God’s Gift to the world, we invite you to prayerfully consider the Live Global Giving Guide for Christmas 2021. Gifts include life-changing options from Bible for new believers in Nepal, to health and vitamin packs for families, and equipment for new church plants. These global gifts bring, “good news of great joy that will be for all people.” (Luke 2:10)
Immanuel Church supports ministry partners with Live Global. Live Global cultivates relationships with national leaders impacting their own cultures and communities for Christ. Our ministry partners support national ministries in leadership development, training & mentoring.
Baptism Service: Sunday, January 9th
Have you been baptized? If you have put your faith in Jesus, we invite you to follow Him in baptism (Matt. 28:19-20). In baptism, we display our trust in Jesus’ death and testify to the new life we have in Him (Rom. 6:3-4). If you need to be baptized or would like to talk to someone about baptism, contact us or reach out to one of our elders.
Ruby and the Treasure Within
Local author and friend of Immanuel, Tonya Hobbs has recently released a children’s book Ruby and the Treasure Within, the adventures of 8 year old Ruby as she uncovers “the greatest treasure the world will ever know.” You can find out more and grab a copy at www.tonyacelestehobbs.com.
