Trunk or Treat: 4 Cars Still Needed!
Trunk or Treat is this Saturday, October 28th, 5pm-7pm! Immanuel Church is partnering with several other local churches to provide a fun and safe event for our community. Join us!
How can you help? Two ways:
- Decorate a car. Our goal for Immanuel is to provide 20 of the total 40 cars. (And we’re so close! But we do need about 4 more.) To sign up to decorate a car click here.
- And/or donate candy. You can bring donated candy to church on Sunday or drop off the candy at our Ministry Center.
Setup Details: Please have your car ready by 4:30pm. Parking lot will be open for setup as early as 3pm. You do NOT need to bring any candy; we will have candy ready for you to pass out.

Living Waters Men’s Group
Did you know that there is a group of Christian brothers at Immanuel who meet regularly to encourage each other in the fight for purity? Living Waters is committed to helping men change (1 Cor. 6:18) and build strong walls of self-control (Prov. 25:28) by the Spirit (Gal. 5:6) through faith, prayer, study, and accountability. Baptism Service: Sunday, October, 29th.
Have you been baptized? If you have put your faith in Jesus, we invite you to follow Him in baptism (Matt. 28:19-20). In baptism, we display our trust in Jesus’ death and testify to the new life we have in Him (Rom. 6:3-4). If you need to be baptized or would like to talk to someone about baptism, contact us or reach out to one of our elders.
Immanuel Adopt-A-Road Clean-Up 11/11
We are looking for 4-6 volunteers who can help with litter clean-up on the section of Hardin Valley Road that Immanuel has adopted. (Our adopted road spans between Steele Road and The Glen Neighborhood.) It will probably take about 30 minutes to complete. If you are interested, please contact Derek Griz.
What: Litter Clean-up along Hardin Valley Road.
When: 11/11, 10AM. ~30 minutes.
Where: Meet at Food City parking lot to get supplies.

Valley Vista One Campaign
Immanuel Church begins a new chapter in our “Future Foundations” giving campaign. We are praying and working towards raising the needed funds to complete our Valley Vista phase one building.

Join the Hospitality Team!
The Hospitality Team plays a vital role at Immanuel. They are the first faces visitors and guests see. They help make folks feel at home at Immanuel, and they display the gracious welcome of Christ.
Would you be willing to help with this work?
- What: Welcome guests. Greet visitors. Help with coffee and Connection Cards. Help make people feel at home at Immanuel.
- When: 10:15am-10:30am, 11:45am-11:50am.
- Frequency: Once a month.
