The new ministry year at Immanuel kicks off this month! We’re excited to welcome everyone back! Here’s how you can jump in.
Sunday Mornings @ 9:00AM
Sunday morning groups resume this Sunday, August 10th, at 9:00 a.m.
- iKids Crew. All Preschoolers through 5th Graders are invited to join the iKids Crew. We spend time singing songs, playing games, and learning more about God and His Word. Nursery and Toddler Rooms are available too.
- Student Study (a.k.a., “Donut Church”). All Middle and High School students are invited to join us in the Gray Hall for Bible Study and, of course, donuts! Parents, be sure to join our announcement GroupMe: Link.
- Core Seminars. We have several seminars available this fall. Jim Hight will teach a three-week opening seminar: “Principles For Accomplishing God’s Purposes Revealed in the Mystery of the Sabbath“, a study of Hebrews 3:1-11. This study will run August 10th, 17th, and 24th and will meet in the gymnatorium. Everyone is welcome! No registration needed. (After Labor Day, starting September 14th, two more seminars will launch. See below for details and registration.)
- Community Groups. A couple of our Community Groups meet onsite to study God’s Word, pray, and share life together. If you’re interested in joining a group, register here or contact us directly.
Wednesday Nights @ 6:30PM.
Midweek ministries kick off this Wednesday, August 13th, from 6:30 p.m.-8:00 p.m.
- BEYOND. All Middle School and High School students are invited to join for youth group. Come hang out, play games, have worship, and study God’s Word together. Parents, be sure to join our announcement GroupMe: Link.
- NEW: Kids Club. This is a brand new ministry for all 2nd thru 5th graders. These nights will be packed with games, activities, and opportunities for friendship. Kids will also be encouraged to grow through worship music, big doctrinal truths, and Scripture memory.

Church Work Day this Saturday
We could use some extra hands (and trucks) to help us clear out our storage unit and tidy up a few spaces at the church. If you’d like to help out, join us at the church on Saturday morning, August 9th at 8:30 a.m. Contact Jared Raby for more details.
3-Week Sabbath Seminar begins this Sunday

Join a Community Group today
The Christian life is better together! Community Groups connect you with other believers for the purpose of encouragement and growth in your life and faith. Groups typically gather weekly to pray, study the Bible, and support one another. These groups meet at the church or in area homes and consist of 8-14 people.

Core Seminars (starting 9.14)
- Basics in Biblical Counseling. This 12-week course is for everyone interested in helping others, whether it be formally or informally, with the sufficient help and hope we have in Scripture. You are already counselor (as you talk to friends and family every day); the only question is whether you will be a good and biblical one. This class will help! We will discuss many relevant topics, including anxiety, anger, depression and trauma related issues. Join us! Register here.
- Names of God. (Ladies Study). God reveals His identity, personality, and character through various names of Himself in scripture. As we study these names, we will better understand who God is and our ability to trust Him will increase. Is He your El Elyon… do you pray to Jehovah Rapha… can you trust your Elohim… will you worship your YHWH ? Join us as we exalt the Name of the LORD. Register here.
Kids Ministry Needs
Our iKids serving team is almost complete! We are looking for a few more servant leaders to love and teach the next generation. If you are interested in helping in nursery or teaching toddlers once a month, please contact Sara (865) 310-8236. We are also looking for 2-3 more people to help once a month with craft and activity preparations.
Back to School Bash
