Thanksgiving Boxes
Take a box. Fill a box. Change a life! We’re partnering with Cedarbrook Outreach to provide Thanksgiving meals for those in our community. Just pick up a box in the atrium this week and fill the box with the food items on the provided list. Boxes need to be returned by Sunday morning, November 9th.
We’re Doing a Christmas Eve Play!
The scene is set as Matthew and John are discussing the birth of Jesus, each wondering how best to capture the wonder of Christ. In the Christmas Messiah, they come together at Bethlehem with the rest of us to hear the prophecies of the coming Messiah.
Character Needs
Characters with no lines: Mary & Joseph, the Angel of the Lord, shepherds [2 needed], and wise men.
There will be three rehearsals. The play will be presented as part of the Christmas Eve service.
If you are interested, please contact Robert Warren (865-806-8858 or rahwarren@gmail.com).
Men’s Breakfast
Join the men of Immanuel on Saturday, November 1st, from 8:00–9:00 AM, for a morning of connection and encouragement. We’ll gather to enjoy a delicious pancake breakfast, to be encouraged by God’s Word, and to build and strengthen friendships with brothers in Christ. There’s no cost. Register here. And if you’d like to help with the event, contact Jared Raby.
