About Seminars
We are offering two fall seminars. Both begin August 16th.
Seminar 1: Faith with Answers: An Introduction to Christian Apologetics
Are Christianity’s truth claims reasonable, or are they simply matters of faith? In this class, we will explore the most common questions and objections raised against Christianity, examining topics such as God, Jesus, the Bible, suffering, science, and other religions through a biblical and evidential lens. Participants will strengthen their confidence in God’s Word, deepen their understanding of the Christian faith, and learn to engage unbelievers with both conviction and grace.
Teacher: Troy Brown
When: Sundays at 9am
Where: Gymnatorium
Who: All are welcome!
Seminar 2: Dust to Dust: Aging Wisely in an Anti-Aging World (Women’s Study)
In Psalm 90:12, Moses prays, “So teach us to number our days that we may get a heart of wisdom.” In this seminar, we will consider God’s design for every life stage, using scripture and the resource, Dust to Dust: Aging Wisely in an Anti-Aging World, by Jen Wilkin. No matter what life stage you are in presently, this theological and practical conversation will help you think about what God says about aging and how it can help you to live fully each day.
Teacher: Jess Griz
When: Sunday at 9am
Where: Room A1
Who: This is a Women’s study.
