Join us the week of June 27th-July 3rd as we serve at Camp Ta-Pa-Win-Go!
Located outside of Johnson City, TN, this camp serves area youth by offering day camps throughout the summer. We have the opportunity to run one of these weeks!

Who: Rising high schoolers, young adults, and Families.
When: June 27th – July 3, 2026.
Cost: $100 (Covers 3 meals/day, lodging, and t-shirt). Additional expenses: One meal out (Sunday afternoon); Canteen Snacks or Camp Souvenirs (optional).
Volunteer Opportunities
- Praise and Worship Team: Lead morning and afternoon chapel times with 2-3 theme/lesson-related children’s worship songs with motions, and lead Praise/Worship daily rotations (typically 4 small team groups).
- Sound/Tech Crew: Run A/V equipment (music/slideshow/lights) for morning and afternoon chapel times and for the Praise/Worship rotations.
- Games/Waterslide leaders: Plan and implement interactive outdoor games relevant to the theme when possible / set up and manage waterslide.
- Craft Team: Plan and implement age-appropriate crafts that coincide with the daily lessons/theme.
- Pool Monitors: Actively monitor pool area. Lifeguard on duty, but other leaders needed in the pool area to help monitor swimmers.
- Camp Team Helpers: Assist Senior Camp Counselors in leading small teams of campers to the rotation, lunch, chapel times, etc. throughout the day.
A Typical Day at Camp:
- 8:00am – Staff (that’s YOU!) Breakfast and Devotions.
- 9:00am – Day Camp (Campers are Kindergarten through 3rd Grade).
- Morning Chapel: Praise and Worship – Greeting – Mini Lesson.
- Rotations (Crafts, Pool, Praise and Worship, Games or Waterslide).
- Lunch.
- Rotations (Crafts, Pool, Praise and Worship, Games or Waterslide).
- Snack.
- Afternoon Chapel: Praise and Worship – Lesson – Daily Awards.
- 4pm – Dismissal.
- 4:15pm – Daily Staff Debriefing.
- 5:00pm – Staff Dinner.
- 7-9pm – Staff Evening Activities (sand volleyball, pool, waterslide, zipline, swing).
