Week 1 – Humanity

During this session, we dig into what it means to be human – what the Bible says about who we are, and how that affects our spiritual walk.

Week 2 – Sin

During our second week, we looked at the doctrine of sin. What is sin? How did it come to be? Who all has been affected? What does that mean?

Week 3 – The Person of Christ

This week we look at an introduction to Christology, and specifically the Person of Christ.

Week 4 – Atonement

In this lesson, we look at the wonder and glory of Christ’s atonement for our sins.

Week 5 – Resurrection and Ascension, and the Offices

This week we look at three topics: the resurrection of Christ, His ascension, and the offices He holds.

Week 6 – The Work of the Holy Spirit

This week we look into the role of the Holy Spirit and the work He performs.

Week 7 – Common Grace

This week we consider the doctrine of Common Grace – How God’s goodness effects the entire world around us.

Week 8 – Election

We look at the doctrine of Election – the plan of God, before the foundation of the earth, to choose those in whom He will demonstrate His glory through the work of salvation.

Week 9 – Call, Regeneration, Conversion (Faith and Repentance)

This week we look at three related topics… the Effectual Call of God (God speaking to us), the work of Regeneration (God working within us), and Conversion (our willing response).

Week 10 – Justification (Right Legal Standing Before God)

We consider the doctrine of Justification – God’s declaration of us as right with Him.

Week 11 – Adoption

This week we consider the wonders of the doctrine of Adoption – what does it mean that God has made us a part of his family – even called us co-heirs with Christ?

Week 12 – Sanctification

Our topic this week is Sanctification – God’s continual work within us to make us more like Him.

Week 13 – Baptism of the Holy Spirit

This week we look at the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, the related gifts, and some of the differing beliefs on these topics, with the goal of helping equip you to understand how the Holy Spirit works in and through the body of believers to accomplish the work of the ministry.

Week 14 – Perseverance of the Saints

This week we consider the Perseverance of the Saints – the doctrine of understanding how true believers continue in their faith (and salvation) to the end.

Week 15 – Death & Glorification

This week we study two topics, the death of man and the eventual glorification of the saints.

Week 16 – Union with Christ

This week we sit back and relish the truths surrounding our union with Christ – what does it mean to be “in him” or for Him to be “in us” – how does this impact the way we look at and interact with other believers.
